THE VIRTUAL FIRE
VILLAGE GUIDELINES
-
Confidentiality: Members of the group must agree to maintain confidentiality and not share the personal stories or experiences of other group members outside of the group.
-
Respect: Members of the group should respect one another's perspectives, beliefs, and experiences. Everyone's experience with plant medicine is unique, and there is no "right" or "wrong" way to integrate.
-
Non-judgment: Members of the group should refrain from judging or criticizing one another's experiences, beliefs, or actions. Each person's journey is their own, and everyone has their own process of integration.
-
Accountability: Members of the group should take responsibility for their own actions and words, and be willing to hold themselves and others accountable for maintaining the group's integrity.
-
Active listening: Members of the group should practice active listening and avoid interrupting or talking over others. Each person should be given the opportunity to express themselves fully.
-
Compassion: Members of the group should approach one another with compassion and empathy, recognizing that everyone has their own challenges and struggles.
-
Safety: Members of the group should create a safe space for one another, both physically and emotionally. Each person should feel comfortable sharing their experiences and emotions without fear of judgment or ridicule.
-
Consistency: Members of the group should commit to attending all sessions and arriving on time. This helps to build trust and consistency within the group.
-
Facilitator role: A designated facilitator should be present to guide the group, help maintain group dynamics, and ensure that the group stays on topic.
-
Sharing of experiences: Members of the group should be encouraged to share their experiences and insights from their plant medicine journeys, but should also respect the boundaries of others and avoid pushing others to share more than they are comfortable with.
-
Support: Members of the group should support one another in their integration process, offering advice, feedback, and resources when the invitation to do so has been offered by the participant.
-
Self-care: Members of the group should prioritize their own self-care throughout the integration process, and should be encouraged to take breaks or step away from the group if needed.
-
THE PRIVACY AND SAFETY OF OUR VILLAGE IS ABSOLUTELY CRUCIAL AND OF THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE TO US ALL HERE IN THIS PORTAL. DO NOT SHARE WHERE OR FROM WHOM YOU RECEIVED ANY PLANT MEDICINES/PSYCHEDELICS THAT ARE NOT FACILITATED IN PLACES WHERE THEY ARE LEGALLY RECOGNIZED FOR YOUR OWN PROTECTION AND THE PROTECTION OF THE FACILITATOR AND THEIR SPACE.
By following these guidelines, The Virtual Fire can provide a safe and supportive space for members to share their experiences and insights with one another.
