The Council of Guides, led by Mateo Shumate, is a sacred gathering space for facilitators, integrators, and retreat centers who recognize the need for their own ongoing integration, support, and accountability in their work with plant medicines.
The Council of Guides serves our Virtual Village, offering a safe and nourishing environment where those in service to the medicine can replenish their own spirit, ensuring they continue to show up with integrity and clarity for the communities they support.

The Plant Medicine Portal Seal of Integrity represents the highest standard of trust, ethics, and accountability in the plant medicine space. Our extensive vetting process, up to 40 requirements in 7 key areas, ensures that only the most qualified, experienced, and ethically aligned facilitators, ,integrators rand retreat centers receive this coveted seal. Through rigorous assessments, peer reviews, and a deep commitment to safety, cultural respect, and harm reduction, we uphold the integrity of this sacred work.
